Accessorize With Leather

Leather can fill out your wardrobe very well. When you have on a nice shirt and a sharp pair of pants, you need to have quality, stylish accessories. Leather goods have been recognized throughout time as being of high quality, durable, reasonably priced, stylish, and available in a variety of colors and styles. The great thing about leather accessories is that they go with anything. Blacks, browns, blues, or any other color you wear works quite nicely with the proper color leather belt, leather shoes, and leather wallet.

Every adult male needs at least one good belt in black and brown. These belts will go with almost anything he will ever wear that is not athletic apparel. A polo shirt with jeans, a button up shirt with slacks, a tee shirt with cargo shorts, and even a suit with a tie are all outfits that need a belt to finish the ensemble. When picking out a belt, the simpler the better. If you are not a cowboy, you probably should not have an ornately worked, handcrafted, rawhide belt with a giant belt buckle flecked with turquoise stones. A simple, sensible, straight leather belt that looks slightly polished when clean will do the trick. The buckle should be simple, clean, and neutral in color. Gold/bronze or silver are the colors that go with just about everything. A black belt with a silver buckle and a brown belt with a bronze buckle will cover you for almost every clothing situation you might find yourself in.

Wallets are a must have for all men. Unless you are a seven-year-old boy who can get away with a Sponge Bob Velcro wallet, you should look into one that is made of leather. The nice thing about a wallet is that it will spend most of its time hidden away. That means that you can get by without having to have a black and a brown wallet, you will just need one good one. A good wallet should last you a long time. If it is made of high quality leather, it will hold up for years. Your wallet should have enough room to carry a few credit cards, your identification, some business cards, and some cash. You do not want to have a wallet that is too big or you will be tempted to fill it up. A large wallet can cause back problems if you sit on it too long.

Shoes are probably the most important piece of the puzzle. People notice shoes. Like the wallet and belt, leather shoes will go with the most clothing combinations. When selecting leather shoes, you want something that is comfortable (you have to wear them, after all) yet stylish. Shining shoes has gone out of style, but that does not mean that you cannot have a pair of semi-glossy leather shoes that reflect light and have a slight, natural shine. Make sure that you have both black and brown shoes to go with your outfits. Always be sure to wear the black shoes with the black belt and the brown shoes with the brown belt.
